New students practice for $40 for the first 30 days! Beginners are welcome in every class.

New to yoga? All new adventures come with a healthy dose of uncertainty. We get it--so let us know what we can do to help you make the most of your first class. We are happy to answer your questions, and help you adjust your practice to meet your personal needs.

All levels are welcome in every class at Westside Yoga. We honor diversity, and believe that inclusiveness is essential in the yoga journey. Beginners and advanced students can practice together, and inspire each other to honor their individuality on the mat!

You are in excellent hands with our experienced instructors. We believe that yoga is a path to total body health, and that everyone can feel successful in yoga, with proper guidance and a healthy attitude toward learning new techniques for well-being.

Our classes are heated (between 80-82 degrees) to help prevent injury and encourage detoxification.

We will not charge you or deduct a class from your account if you miss class or late cancel (w/in 2 hours of class time) unless that class is full. For students with class packs, we will apply your class. For unlimited students, we will apply a $12 charge for a late cancel/missed class.

For your first visit to the studio, try to arrive at least 10 minutes before class is scheduled to begin. Bring a yoga mat, a bottle of water, and a towel. Check in at the front desk when you arrive. And follow these guidelines for a great experience, very time you meet your mat:

  • Tell your yoga teacher if you are recovering from injury, or have physical limitations.
  • Your yoga teacher is your guide. Let him or her know if you need help or have questions.
  • You do not have to do everything the teacher suggests--it's your practice!
  • Our classes are challenging, but you can always take breaks. If your body tells you to stop, honor your intuition.
  • If your body wants more, go for it with intention and awareness.
  • Move, breathe, and challenge yourself--this is all you need to do to be good at yoga.
  • Yoga is an incremental process, so give yourself grace, especially in your first few yoga classes.
  • If you feel sore after your first few classes, drink a lot of water and stretch often.
  • No judgements of yourself, or others. It's all good, when meet our mat
  • Please try to check in on the Mind Body app or website for future classes--it saves a lot of time when you visit the studio and guarantees your spot.
